Which qualification is the best for you?
IELTS is the most popular, but to do well you have to know what’s required, and the question types can be so confusing!
Cambridge Certificates in ESOL are well-known and internationally valid, but do they always meet UKVI requirements? Are they all SELT tests?
(The answer to both these questions is – ‘No’.)
You could try Trinity, a communication-based English language testing system – not so straightforward to ‘prepare’ for but, if you have the language skills and some good test taking strategies, it might be an option for you.
